Cherry Crumb Co. didn't start with a big business plan or years of baking experience. It started with something much simpler - a love for baking and the happiness that comes from sharing something you've made with your own hands.
Some of my favourite memories have always been in the kitchen. There's something incredibly comforting about measuring ingredients, waiting for butter to brown, watching dough come together, and filling the house with the smell of something fresh from the oven. Baking became my happy place, and before long I found myself dreaming about sharing that feeling with other people.
That dream slowly became Cherry Crumb Co.
I wanted to create more than just another bakery.
I wanted to create something that felt warm.
The kind of business where every order is made by the same pair of hands, where recipes are carefully tested over and over until they're just right, and where every box leaving my kitchen feels like I'm giving someone a little piece of home.
Whether you're ordering cookies because you've had a rough week, brownies to celebrate a birthday, muffins to share at work, or banana bread just because you're craving it, I feel incredibly lucky to be a small part of those moments.
One thing you'll learn about me is that I'm a perfectionist.
I'm constantly tweaking recipes, testing new flavours, changing tiny details that most people would never notice all because I want every single treat to be the best it can possibly be.
If something doesn't meet my own standards, it doesn't leave my kitchen.
It's as simple as that.
People often ask why I chose the name Cherry Crumb Co.
To me, it simply feels like home.
It's warm, comforting, a little nostalgic, and reminds me that life's sweetest moments are often the simplest ones - a fresh cookie after dinner, banana bread with a cup of tea, or brownies shared around the office on a Friday afternoon.
That's exactly what I hope Cherry Crumb Co. becomes for you.
Starting this little business has been one of the scariest things I've ever done.
Like most small business owners, I've had moments where I've questioned myself, wondered if anyone would order, and hoped people would love my baking as much as I love making it.
But every order, every message, every follow, every recommendation to a friend reminds me why I started.
You're not just buying baked goods.
You're helping someone build something they've dreamed about.
And I honestly can't thank you enough for being here.
